Here are this weeks Koi varieties; these Koi also come in different hues and also Doitsu (Scaleless):
Ai Goromo- Ai meaning indigo blue and Goromo meaning robed
Budo Goromo- Budo meaning grape and Goromo meaning robed
Karashigoi- Karashi means the color of mustard
Kigoi- Ki meaning Yellow Koi
Kijiro- New variety
Haijiro- Meaning a duck with bright patches on its wings.
Karasugoi- Meaning black like a raven or crow.
Matsukawabake- Meaning pinecone river ghost.
Kumonryu- Meaning Nine Crest Dragon (A crest “monshō” is
the Japanese version of a coat of arms). Black pattern changes with every season.
Beni Kumonryu- Beni means red. Kumonryu means Nine Crest Dragon (A crest “monshō” is the Japanese version of a coat of arms). Black pattern changes with every season while the red pattern does not change.
